Open Position: RN - Nurse Lead

Opportunity:

RN - Charge Nurse

Job Details:

* Night shift position working 3x12-hour shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
* No set day/rotating schedule
* No on-call required, voluntary call only
* Minimum 2 years of recent experience in field required
* Previous Charge RN experience required
* High-risk delivery experience required
* Provide unit-based leadership working collaboratively with Nurse Manager, Director, Physicians, and staff
* Supervise and direct activities of nursing and ancillary personnel using professional and supervisory discretion
* Ensure patients receive cost effective, professional care resulting in positive outcomes and high patient satisfaction
* Initiate and coordinate individual and team conferences with health team members, patients, and families to develop and revise care plans
* Monitor personnel in the performance of patient care activities to ensure adequate patient care and quality of work
* Foster an environment of patient and family centered care with attention to cultural diversity and personal needs
* Required certifications: BLS, NRP (AHA or ARC), PALS (AHA or ARC)
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience required
* Current RN licensure in state of practice required
* Supervisory experience or demonstrated supervisory skills required

This 162-bed acute care facility has been providing care to the community since 1959. The facility includes a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and serves as a county designated trauma center.
