Opportunity:

Operating Room RN

Job Details:

* 5x8 day shifts, Monday through Friday from 6:50 AM to 3:20 PM
* Minimum of 1-2 on-call shifts per week required
* One weekend of on-call per month required
* Guaranteed 32-40 hours per week
* Ratio of 1 RN to 1 or 2 Surgical Techs
* Weekends not scheduled, on-call only
* Orthopedic experience required
* Minimum 2 years RN experience required with at least 1 year of Operating Room experience
* First-time travelers not accepted
* Candidates must have a permanent address 100 miles from the facility
* WV or Compact License required; pending license accepted for submission
* Required certifications: ACLS and BLS (American Heart Association)
* Charting systems: CERNER, Omnicell, Accudose (Cerner experience preferred)
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Care for patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
* Float within scope not required
* Block scheduling not available
* No pre-approved time off restrictions

Facility:

This facility is a short-term acute care, non-profit hospital with 70 staffed beds. More than 100 doctors hold privileges to practice at the hospital, supported by nearly 400 nurses and non-clinical staff. The facility provides emergency services and specialized care to the surrounding region, with interdisciplinary support services including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response teams. Parking is complimentary for traveling clinicians.
