Opportunity:

RN - Cardiac ICU

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour shifts from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM
* Position located on the 3rd floor in the main building
* 16-bed Cardiac ICU unit with a team of 60 staff members
* Patient ratio of 1 RN to 2 patients
* Night shift staffing includes 1 CNC/Charge RN, 8 RNs, and 1 PCT
* Work with equipment including cardiac monitoring systems, ventilators, IV pumps, tube feed pumps, and Swan catheters
* EMR system: Meditech
* Perform procedures including intubations and central line placement
* 24/7 physician coverage available including intensivist, neuro-intensivist, and trauma surgeon
* Minimum 1 year of current ICU hospital experience required
* Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
* Experience with neuro population and medical ICU population preferred
* Prior Meditech experience preferred
* Collaborative and team-oriented personality required with a priority on patient care experience

The unit maintains 24/7 physician coverage with intensivists, neuro-intensivists, and trauma surgeons to support patient care. The facility is equipped with modern technology and maintains an experienced, tenured staff dedicated to delivering high-quality care to cardiac and critically ill patients.
