Opportunity:

RN - Cath Lab, EP and IR

Job Details:

* 4x10 hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week
* Self-scheduling available
* No weekends or holidays unless on call
* 9-12 call days per month (combination of weeknight, weekend, and holiday call rotated within the group)
* 30-minute call response time required
* Minimum 3 years of experience required - seasoned traveler preferred with ability to help train newer staff members
* Recent electrophysiology experience required, including device implants and ablations
* Required skill set includes circulation, scrubbing, hemodynamic monitoring, and insertion of intra-arterial/venous catheters during EP procedures
* Nurses scrub and provide conscious sedation
* Common patient diagnoses include CAD, adult patients, devices (pacemakers), and structural heart support in hybrid OR
* Work within a department consisting of 3 suites/labs averaging 7 cases per day
* EMR/Equipment: Meditech and Xper
* Charting system: MEDITECH
* Scrubs provided in-house
* No floating requirements
* Required certifications: BLS
* BSN not required
* Valid nursing license required for submission
* Acute care setting

Facility:

This acute care facility operates a comprehensive cardiovascular services department including a Cath Lab, Electrophysiology, and Interventional Radiology unit. The department features 3 suites/labs and is supported by a team of 5 Cath Lab Techs and a supervising charge nurse who assists with cases as needed. The facility provides a structured orientation program and maintains a collaborative team environment focused on delivering high-quality cardiac care.
