Job Details:

* 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday
* Block scheduling type
* Minimum 2 years of inpatient OR experience required
* Strong orthopedic background required
* Robotics experience required (Da Vinci preferred)
* Urology experience required
* Circulating and scrubbing experience required
* Ability to float to other facilities up to 5 times per month to qualified specialties
* Travel experience required within the last 12 months
* Prior teaching hospital experience preferred
* Patient ratio of 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* Adolescent and adult patient populations
* Daily census of 12
* Charting system: Epic (required)
* Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, and transportation
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA), California RN License, BSN
* CNOR preferred
* Required skills include: anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, arthroscopy, closed reduction of fractures, general OR, Hana table, laminectomy/discectomy, open reduction of fractures, ortho/spine, scrubbing arthroscopic and orthopedic surgeries, spinal fusion, and total joint replacement
