Opportunity:
OT - Outpatient
Job Details:
* Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with some flexibility in shift start and end times
* No weekend rotation, call, or holiday expectations required
* Minimum 1 year of outpatient experience required
* First-time travelers accepted with 5+ years of experience and outpatient experience
* Treat outpatient orthopedic and outpatient neurological patients including strokes, TBI, shoulder injuries/surgeries, hand injuries/surgeries, elbow injuries, tendonitis, wrist fractures, and deconditioning
* Must have proven competency to evaluate and treat patients in an outpatient rehab setting
* Proficiency with outpatient OT equipment required including ultrasound, e-stim, exercise bike, treadmill, and strength training equipment
* EMR system: Cerner Millennium
* Minimum 2 days of orientation provided prior to independent patient care with preceptor support until ready to work independently
* No floating between departments or locations
* Required certifications: OT State Licensure, BLS
* Bachelor's degree or above required
* Dress code: Business casual attire required; closed-toe shoes, no jeans except Fridays, no graphic t-shirts; solid colors or professional scrubs with no graphics, logos, or designs
* On-site parking available
Facility:
This outpatient therapy clinic provides a range of rehabilitative services in a supportive clinical environment. The department is staffed with a team of physical and occupational therapists, including a COTA, and is overseen by a Director of Rehab and Supervisor who are available by phone as needed. A dedicated scheduler manages patient scheduling, allowing clinicians to focus on delivering quality care to their patients.
