Opportunity:

MRI Technologist - Radiology

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour shifts scheduled Monday through Friday between 6:45 AM and 7:15 PM
* 2 shifts per week scheduled within the Monday through Friday window
* No weekend or holiday requirements
* No on-call or standby responsibilities
* No floating or coverage of other areas required
* Operate a single Siemens MRI scanner in a mobile MRI unit setting
* Perform brain, spine, MRA, body (abdomen, pelvis, chest), and MSK (long bone, joints) imaging studies
* Average of 14 scans/studies per day
* Must be comfortable working as a lone technologist with strong physician communication skills
* Start and manage IV lines as needed
* Utilize EPIC for charting and Fuji PACS for imaging
* Radiology supervisor or lead tech available on site
* Radiologist available in-house
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT, and WV MRI license
* Grey scrubs required, not provided
* Cancellation policy: 2 shifts per 13-week assignment or 1 shift for assignments less than 13 weeks

Facility:

This facility is a neuroscience-focused institute operating a newly established mobile MRI unit within its radiology department. The unit is equipped with a Siemens MRI scanner and supported by an in-house radiologist and radiology supervisor. The department utilizes EPIC and Fuji PACS systems and maintains an acute care setting with a staffing model consisting of one MRI technologist supported by two radiology assistants.
