Opportunity:

RN - Medical Intermediate Care Unit

Job Details:

* Work on a Medical Intermediate Care Unit (Daly 6B) that combines medical-telemetry and medical step-down care
* Unit consists of 42 beds - 21 medical and 21 intermediate care beds
* Patient ratios: Intermediate care 1:3 and Medical 1:6
* Care for patients with conditions including pneumonia, COPD exacerbation, DKA, HHS, ETOH withdrawal, GI bleeding, sepsis, PE, UTI, and respiratory failure
* Must have experience with trachs, vents, high-flow nasal cannula, cardiac drips, BiPAP, and telemetry
* RNs are expected to work on both sides of the floor (medical-telemetry and intermediate care)
* Floating to other units may occur at times
* 1-2 years of experience preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
