Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* 52-bed emergency department unit
* Patient ratios average 3:1, with low acuity at 5:1 and pediatric team nursing model
* Night shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 4 nurses, 1 tech, 1 unit clerk, 1 physician, and 1 midlevel provider per pod
* Perform IV starts, medication administration, sedations, and pediatric care
* Scan patients and medications every time as per unit expectations
* Work with Alaris equipment and Meditech EMR system
* Must be able to keep up with a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly
* Minimum 1 year of ED RN experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, and CPI Blue Card
* Travel experience or experience at large facility preferred
* ENPC certification and Meditech experience preferred
* Experience traveling to facilities larger than 52 beds preferred

This freestanding emergency department is a 52-bed facility staffed by a team of experienced healthcare professionals, including charge nurses, registered nurses, technicians, unit clerks, physicians, and midlevel providers. The facility utilizes modern Alaris equipment and Meditech EMR technology, and maintains a fast-paced environment focused on delivering high-quality emergency care across a diverse patient population, including pediatrics and low-acuity cases.
