Open Position: RN - PACU

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2181.04

Opportunity:

SEASONAL- TRAVEL - RN - PACU

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM
* Float between multiple PACU units including Main/Surgical Robotics and Orthopedic Surgery Center
* Patient ratio of 1 RN to 2 patients, with same-day surgery patients potentially having up to 3 at a time, staffed per ASPAN standards
* Night shift staffed with 2 RNs (ratios are estimated, not guaranteed)
* Work with GE Monitors and Meditech EMR system
* Pre-op and recover any patient who receives anesthesia
* Care for high neuro volume, stroke patients, interventional radiology, TAVRs, and critical care overflow patients
* Perform procedures related to spine, general, GI, colorectal, total joints, GYN, and robotics surgeries
* Critical care experience and/or PACU experience required
* Required certifications: PALS, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
* Stroke care experience preferred
* Flexible and outgoing personality preferred

Facility:

This facility houses a comprehensive PACU department spanning 59 total bays across multiple units, including a 27-bay main unit, a 12-bay Surgical Robotics unit, and a 20-bay Orthopedic Surgery Center, all combining Pre-Op and PACU services. The department employs approximately 70 staff members, including RNs, patient care techs, and a Pre-Admit Clinic team.
