Opportunity:

RN - PACU

Job Details:

* Seasonal travel PACU RN position working 12-hour day shifts from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
* Unit operates with 30 beds and maintains patient ratios of 1 RN to 2 patients, with 1 RN to 1 patient care also required
* Day shift staffing includes 1 CNC/charge nurse and 12 nurses
* Night shift staffing includes 2 RNs, sometimes structured as call shifts rather than scheduled shifts
* On-call is required with a 30-minute response time when on-call
* Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital PACU RN experience required
* Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
* Perform post-anesthesia care for patients recovering from a variety of procedures including craniotomies and orthopedic surgeries
* EMR system used is Meditech; prior Meditech experience preferred
* Flexibility with hours is preferred
* Ideal candidate has a great attitude, does not easily stress, and prioritizes patient experience
