Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

* Work in a 22-bed Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) with a 1:4 patient ratio
* Day shift staffing includes 1 CNC and 3 RNs; mid shift includes 2 RNs; night shift includes 1 CNC and 3 RNs
* Weekends required as needed or every other weekend based on preference
* No on-call responsibilities
* Perform typical procedures including IV starts, blood draws, moderate sedations, and splinting
* Operate equipment including splinting devices, defibrillator, Hamilton Vent, Welch Allyn, and bedside cardiac monitoring
* Use Meditech Magic EMR (transitioning to Meditech Expanse)
* Float to Fairmont FSED if needed
* Dress code: Royal Blue scrubs, closed-toed shoes (no crocs with holes), no false nails, no AirPods, no Meta glasses; stethoscope required for assessments
* No food or drinks permitted at the nurse's station per Joint Commission guidelines
* Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, RN License
* Preferred certifications: ENPC, NRP
* Ideal candidate demonstrates strong teamwork skills and a focus on patient experience

This freestanding emergency department operates 24/7, providing immediate emergency care services to the surrounding community. The facility is equipped with modern medical technology and maintains a structured staffing model across day, mid, and night shifts to ensure comprehensive patient care at all times. The unit follows strict regulatory guidelines per Joint Commission standards and is committed to delivering a high-quality patient experience.
