Job Details:
* Block schedule required
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call required
* 48-hour shifts approved
* Position will float between units
* Expected patient ratio of 1:11
* Washington state license must be in hand at time of submission
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Level I Trauma experience preferred
* Pediatrics and adolescent patient experience preferred
* Treats patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Charting system: Epic
* Scrub color: Any color
* No parking fee
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, RRT, Washington license
* Required skills include: Aerosol set up mask and trach, Albuterol, Atrovent, BiPAP, CPAP, Extubation, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Nitric Oxide (INo), Oral and nasal airway placement and suctioning, Pulmonary hygiene, Tracheostomy care and management, Troubleshooting high pressure alarms, Weaning from mechanical ventilation, Rapid Response, and Trauma
* Preferred equipment experience: Puritan Bennett, Draeger, Trilogy, LTV1250
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility; refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours

This facility is a short-term acute care Level II Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center with 629 total staffed beds and 644 licensed beds. As a teaching hospital, it provides a comprehensive range of specialized services including a Level 4 NICU, Medical ICU, Cardiac ICU, and PICU. The facility supports diverse patient populations ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics and offers 24/7 emergency department services with robust interdisciplinary support.
