Open Position: Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR

Job Details:

* Day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday
* Work across 7 operating suites including 1 Cysto room and 2 C-section rooms
* Average of 15 to 24 cases per day
* Heavy orthopedic focus including total joints as first scrub
* Common cases include GYN/C-sections, urology, spine, ENT, GI, and general surgery
* CVOR cases include vascular procedures such as fem pops, cut downs, hybrid cases with cath lab, stents, fistulas, and CABG
* Pediatric cases limited to tubes and tonsils; rare appendectomies
* No robotics cases
* CST call requirement is 6 to 7 call shifts per month including one weekend
* CST CVOR call requirement is 15 to 16 call shifts per month including every other weekend
* Weekend call for CST covers Friday 3:00 PM through all day Sunday
* Call response time is 20 minutes for CST and 30 minutes for CST CVOR
* No floating requirements
* Scrubs are provided by the facility
* Orientation consists of a half day with HR followed by 3 to 4 days on the unit
* Charting system is EPIC
* Minimum 3 years of experience in an acute care OR setting required
* Previous travel experience preferred
* Must be able to perform C-sections
* Cancellation policy allows 3 shifts per 13-week assignment
* Cannot request Christmas or Thanksgiving off
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC), CST via NBSTSA or NCCT, Certified ECG Technician (NCET) via NCCT, Certified Surgical First Assist (CSFA) via NBSTSA

This acute care facility operates a Level 3 Trauma Center with a comprehensive surgical services department spanning 7 operating suites. The organization provides a wide range of surgical specialties including orthopedics, cardiovascular, vascular, gynecology, urology, spine, ENT, and general surgery. The facility maintains a dedicated CVOR program with consistent vascular surgery block time and supports both adult and limited pediatric surgical cases.
