Opportunity:

RN - Rehabilitation

Job Details:

* 3x12 night shift schedule
* Weekend coverage required with 4 weekend shifts per contract
* Patient ratio of 1:7 for days, nights, and weekends
* May float to long-term acute care or other units in the hospital to manage med-surg patients
* Minimum 2 years of experience preferred
* Travel experience preferred
* Previous charge experience preferred
* LTAC experience preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, and NIHSS
* Charting system experience required - Epic
* Care for patients across age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Patient diagnoses include CVA, orthopedics, brain injuries, and debilitated patients requiring rehabilitation services
* Required skills include: accessing/managing ports, blood product administration, central line blood draw, colostomy/ileostomy management, feeding tube care and management, heparin, insulin, isolation precautions/PPE, med/surg, peripheral line care/management, phlebotomy, PICC line management, pre/post hemodialysis management, pre/post neurosurgery, spinal cord injury, starting and maintaining IVs, tracheostomy care/management, traumatic brain injury, use of rapid response/code teams, and wound care/wound vac
* Work with interdisciplinary support teams including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation
* Utilize fully equipped therapy rooms and gyms along with state-of-the-art equipment for physical and occupational therapy
* Self-scheduling available
* One pre-approved time off request allowed
