Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour shifts with options for 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Rotating shifts or straight nights available, with potential to support other shifts based on staffing needs
* Every other weekend required
* Every other holiday required
* No on-call or standby requirement
* No floating requirements
* 8-bed ICU unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3
* Care for cardiac and neurology patient populations
* Required to titrate and manage drips
* Interpret cardiac rhythms using Nihon-Kohden monitors
* Charge nurse is present on each shift and accepts patient assignments
* Respiratory therapy covers all ventilator management
* Charting performed using MEDITECH system
* Any scrub color accepted
* Cancellation policy: 2 shifts per 13-week assignment or 1 shift for assignments less than 13 weeks
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), PALS
* Prior ICU experience required
* BSN not required

The unit is supported by hospitalists with residents or mid-level providers available for night call, along with respiratory therapy available as needed.
