Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM (3x12s)
* 36 guaranteed hours per week
* Every other weekend and holiday shift required
* No on-call requirements
* 13+ week contract assignment
* Must be able to float to other units
* Minimum 2 years of Telemetry/Med Surg experience required
* Previous travel experience required
* Cardiac experience required
* Specialty areas include Cardiac, Float Pool, Med Surg, and Telemetry
* Patient ratio averages 1:7
* EMR system: EPIC (required)
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA only), NIH, and VA State License or Compact
* Scrub color: Navy Blue, dress code per facility policy
* No block scheduling available
* Up to 3 days of pre-approved time off permitted outside of holidays
* One holiday time off request may be considered, with no more than two days for holiday RTO

Facility:

This large 495-bed facility is designated as a Level II Trauma Center and has earned an "A" grade in Patient Safety for 9 consecutive years. The facility operates a robust float pool serving multiple units with at least 30 beds per unit, providing acute care services across a range of specialties including Cardiac, Med Surg, and Telemetry. The organization maintains high standards of patient care and utilizes EPIC as its electronic medical records system.
