Job Details:

* Variable shift schedule working 4 x 10-hour shifts
* Primarily night shifts from 8:30 PM to 6:30 AM with occasional day shifts from 10:15 AM to 8:45 PM
* Rotating days with a general schedule of 8 days on and 6 days off, including weekends
* Christmas Eve and Christmas Day coverage may be required
* No on-call responsibilities
* Minimum 1 year of inpatient pharmacy experience required
* Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree preferred
* EPIC experience required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
* Active Pharmacist license in the state of practice required
* Verify, process, enter, and distribute medication orders in compliance with department and hospital policies and regulatory guidelines
* Monitor patient medication therapies to ensure efficacy, safety, and cost-effectiveness
* Identify and troubleshoot potential medication safety hazards
* Conduct daily reports on medication utilization to identify areas for improvement
* Perform quality assurance procedures in related work areas
* Participate in clinical rounds, unit-based medication management activities, and remote order verification
* Collaborate with leadership and pharmacy buyer to manage drug formulary compliance and documentation
* Document all interactions for medical review and supervise support personnel

It is comprised of a 50-bed acute care medical center, level IV trauma center, level II intensive care nursery services, an extensive physical rehabilitation program, an outpatient surgery and diagnostic center, and an advanced wound care center.
