Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with varying schedule
* 12-week assignment with 36 hours per week guaranteed
* No on-call required but may be asked to work all weekends
* Patient ratio of 6:1
* Work on a 27-bed Medical Surgical unit that also covers Ortho-Spine on the same floor
* Care for patients including stroke, trauma, bariatric surgery, urology surgery, joint surgery, spine surgery, CHF, COPD, bowel obstruction, AKI, ARF, and withdrawal cases
* Use Alaris and Welch Allyn equipment
* Document using Meditech EMR system
* Med-Surg experience required
* Ortho-Spine experience preferred
* ACLS preferred
* Charge experience preferred
* Collaborative, growth mindset, team-oriented, and compassionate personality preferred
* Required dress code: Galaxy Blue or Navy Blue top with matching or black bottoms
* Required certifications: RN License, BLS

Facility:

This medical center is located on a main campus and operates a Medical Surgical unit on the second floor with 27 beds. The facility provides care for a wide range of patients including surgical and medical cases, with both day and night shift RNs and PCTs staffed based on census. The unit supports a collaborative team environment and utilizes modern equipment and electronic medical record systems to deliver quality patient care.
