RN - Med/Surg Tele

Job Details:

* Night shift position working 3 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* 20-week contract preferred; 13-week contracts also accepted
* Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
* Must have a permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand at time of submission
* Required certifications: BLS and ACLS through AHA or American Red Cross (must be active and in hand)
* Recent Epic charting experience within the last 6 months is required
* One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required; must be from assignments worked within the past 12 months
* Traveler must work at least every other holiday
* ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments will be completed during orientation; an acceptable score on both is required with a maximum of 2 attempts to pass
* Local candidates accepted

The Med/Surg Telemetry unit is equipped to support nurses in providing comprehensive care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. The organization maintains high standards for clinical competency and requires all travel nurses to complete required orientation modules and annual hands-on competency assessments.
