OT - Inpatient Rehab

Job Details:

* Two schedule options available: 5x8 hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Friday through Tuesday, or 4x10 hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM Friday through Monday
* Weekend option position - every weekend is required
* Up to two pre-approved time off requests permitted
* Minimum 1 year of experience required - no new graduates
* Inpatient Rehab Facility experience strongly preferred; strong acute care background considered in lieu of IRF experience
* First-time travelers accepted if candidate has prior inpatient rehab background
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Daily census of 39 patients across 39 beds
* Primarily neurological caseload with high prevalence of stroke diagnoses; additional diagnoses include brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, cancer, and debility
* Interdisciplinary team support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and unit secretary
* Travelers may be floated to other campus locations as needed
* EPIC EMR experience required
* Required certifications: NBCOT, BLS
* No local candidates within a 50-mile radius

This facility is a well-established hospital housing a dedicated inpatient rehabilitation department that serves adult and geriatric patients recovering from neurological conditions, injuries, and other complex diagnoses. The rehabilitation unit operates with a comprehensive interdisciplinary team approach, integrating physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, social services, and rapid response support to deliver well-rounded patient care. The organization maintains high clinical standards and is part of a larger health system with multiple campuses.
