Job Details:

* Variable night shift position working 5x8 hours, 11:30 PM to 7:30 AM
* Two-week morning shift orientation and training required at start of assignment
* Must be available to assist with evening shift (3:00 PM start) based on staffing needs
* Must be able to work variable shifts
* No travel pairs accepted
* No time off requests in the first 4 weeks of schedule
* Travelers willing to extend are preferred
* Minimum 2 years of experience required, 3 years preferred; no first-time travelers
* Travel experience required
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Trauma Level I experience preferred
* Daily average surgical case volume of 30 with 14 rooms and average daily tray volume of 250
* Patient population ranges from neonates to geriatrics
* Documentation systems: EPIC and SPM; SPM experience is required
* Scrubs are provided
* Required skills include sterilization, decontamination, assembly/wrap, scope/probe reprocessing, equipment documentation, and high-level disinfection (HLD)
* Knowledge of Olympus and Karl Storz flexible scopes preferred
* Preferred equipment experience: Robotics (DaVinci XI, Stryker Mako, Medtronic Stealth), SPD Sterilization Equipment (Getinge Sterilization, ASP Sterrad, Steris Dryer), SPD Decontam Equipment (Getinge Washer, Medivators)
* Preferred certifications: CBSPD, IAHCSMM/HSPA, SGNA

This healthcare facility is a high-volume surgical center supporting a wide range of surgical specialties, including general, orthopedic, robotic, neurological, OB/GYN, urology, ophthalmology, plastics, transplant, and trauma procedures. The facility operates 14 surgical rooms with a daily average of 30 surgical cases and utilizes advanced robotic and sterilization technology. The organization supports a broad patient population ranging from neonates to geriatrics and is committed to maintaining rigorous sterile processing standards.
