Open Position: PT - Physical Therapist Outpatient

Opportunity:

Physical Therapist - UCHealth Parkview Pueblo West Hospital

Job Details:

* Schedule options available: 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM) or 5x8-hour shifts (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
* No weekend requirements
* No on-call responsibilities
* Minimum 2 years of outpatient orthopedic experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Colorado state licensure required (processing time may take up to 6 weeks)
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA)
* Charting system experience required; Epic system utilized
* Treats patients across age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Patient ratio of 1:1 during day shifts
* Daily census of 130 visits per day
* Block scheduling type
* Skills include but are not limited to: orthopedics, outpatient clinic, gait training, manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neurology, sports medicine, post-operative rehabilitation, and home exercise program development
* Maximum of 10 RTO days approved per 13-week contract
* RTO is not permitted during the following blackout periods: November 22 December 2, 2026; December 20 January 3, 2027; March 13 March 21, 2027

This community hospital provides outpatient physical therapy services with an interdisciplinary support structure. The facility features a 10-room outpatient therapy unit and utilizes Epic as its primary charting system. The organization supports a wide range of patient diagnoses and therapeutic interventions, offering a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality rehabilitative care to patients across multiple age groups.
