Job Details:

* Work 3x12-hour shifts per week on days or mids, variable schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM
* Guaranteed 36 hours per week
* Patient ratio of 1:1
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* On-call requirements include up to 8 weekday shifts and up to 9 twelve-hour weekend call shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) per 13-week period with a 30-minute recall
* Blocked scheduling on weekends
* High volume and fast-paced Level I trauma center operating room with 11 rooms specializing in high volume ortho, trauma, and spine cases across all specialties with minimal pediatrics
* Must have experience in general, ortho, spine, trauma, and neuro including craniotomies
* Level I trauma experience required; highly skilled clinicians with recent Level II trauma experience in a like-size or larger facility may be considered
* Scrubbing experience is a plus for RN staff
* May float to other areas as helping hands based on job role and abilities
* Scrubs are provided
* Charting system: Cerner
* Free parking available
* Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA)
* Active, unrestricted Arizona RN license or valid participating compact license required
* Previous charge experience preferred

Facility:

This short-term acute care teaching hospital and Level I trauma center operates 11 operating rooms supporting a high volume of orthopedic, trauma, and spine cases across all surgical specialties. With 268 staffed beds and a daily census of approximately 200 patients, the facility is supported by a robust interdisciplinary team including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, and more.
