Opportunity:

RN - Ortho Trauma Specialty Medsurge

Job Details:

* Work on a 36-bed Ortho Trauma Specialty Medsurge unit
* Day shift and night shift available with 1 charge nurse, 8 RNs, and 3 CNAs per shift
* Must be on unit by 6:45 AM or 6:45 PM for Huddle, with tardy policy enforced by 6:53 AM or 6:53 PM
* Patient ratio of 1:5 with flex to 1:6
* Work with telemetry equipment and Meditech EMR system
* Care for polytrauma patients, non-surgical cervical fractures cleared by spine, ortho, and trauma with downgraded TBI
* Manage patients with no more than 3 drains and burn downgrades
* Administer Heparin and Protonix drips
* 4 weekend commitment required
* Floating to all Medical-Surgical units may be required
* Dress code: Royal Blue scrubs
* Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical experience required
* BLS certification required
* Ortho and/or Trauma patient experience preferred

The facility utilizes Meditech as its electronic medical records system and supports staff with a well-defined team structure across both day and night shifts.
