Opportunity:

RN - Telemetry

Job Details:

* 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
* Patient ratios of 1:5 for days, nights, and weekends
* Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Travel experience required; no first-time travelers accepted
* Local candidates are accepted
* Float required
* Weekend coverage required as needed, with 6 weekend shifts per contract
* 24-hour orientation
* Epic charting system experience required and must be noted in work history
* Required certifications: BLS
* Preferred certifications: ACLS, CPI, NIHSS
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Community hospital, LTAC, Trauma Level I, and Trauma Level II experience preferred
* Key skills include cardiac telemetry, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, central line care and management, heparin protocols, IV insulin protocols, PICC line management, tracheostomy care, wound care, and use of rapid response/code teams
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, lift teams, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation
* Two supervisor references required when applying
* No requested time off within the first two weeks of assignment; maximum 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract preferred
