Open Position: RN - PACU

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2934.60

Opportunity:

RN - PACU

Job Details:

* 10-hour day shifts with variable start times between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM
* Monday through Friday schedule with call available
* Flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations
* Float policy: May be reassigned to a different department, unit, or facility at any time during assignment
* Minimum 3 years of nursing experience required
* Phase I PACU experience required
* Inpatient experience required
* Ability to float from pre-op to PACU required
* Cath lab recovery experience required
* Prior travel experience within the last 12 months required
* Prior teaching hospital experience preferred
* BSN required
* Patient ratio is 1:3 for days, nights, and weekends
* Serves patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Patient diagnoses include urology, robotics, orthopedics, and general surgery
* Required skills include: arterial line management, dysrhythmia recognition/management, blood product administration, central line care/management, IV vasopressors, narcotics/opioid analgesics, reversal agents, care of ventilated patients, conscious sedation, post-epidural management, malignant hyperthermia protocol, pain assessment and management, PCA pump management, RASS, and post cath lab procedures
* Charting system experience required
* Required certifications: CA RN License, AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS
