Opportunity:

Radiation Therapist - Radiation Oncology

Job Details:

* Work either five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts per week during day hours
* No weekend or holiday requirements
* No on-call or standby responsibilities
* Treat an average of 25 patients per linear accelerator (50 total) plus 6-9 CT sim patients per day
* Perform treatments utilizing IMRT, IGRT, SRS, and SBRT techniques
* Operate Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator and Varian ARIA Oncology Information System
* Work with additional department equipment including Varian Trilogy and Siemens Somation Go.Flo Open
* Care for a mix of adult and pediatric patients with minimal pediatric cases
* No IV starts required
* No floating or coverage of other areas required
* Radiology supervisor or lead tech on-site
* Radiation Oncologists on-site
* Chart using EPIC system
* Scrub color: Gray
* Department-specific orientation provided
* Cancellation policy: 2 shifts per 13-week assignment or 1 shift for assignments less than 13 weeks
* Required certifications: BLS Certification, ARRT Registered Radiation Therapist (T), West Virginia state license

This Level 1 Trauma acute care facility houses a comprehensive Radiation Oncology department equipped with advanced linear accelerators and oncology information systems. The department is staffed with on-site Radiation Oncologists and supervisory personnel, providing high-quality cancer care to both adult and pediatric populations. The facility utilizes EPIC for charting and maintains a structured, well-supported environment for radiation therapy professionals.
