Open Position: Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech

Opportunity:

Surgical Technologist - OR

Job Details:

* Work 10-hour shifts with the expectation to stay late as needed (additional time is not considered call back)
* Call responsibilities 1 to 2 days per week and every 3 to 4 weeks
* May need to cover cases outside of general surgery when on call or during off shifts
* Perform surgical and operating room duties to assist surgeons and other health care team members in providing effective surgical care
* Primary procedures include orthopedics, ENT, plastics, general surgery, and some trauma
* Work in a facility with 25 OR suites averaging 75 to 100 cases per day
* Utilize systems including Zimmer, Depuy, Biomet, and Stryker total replacements - experience in at least one of these systems is required
* Potential to float to other campuses as needed
* Must badge in and out at the facility
* Scrubs provided in Ceil Blue
* Charting system: EPIC
* 2+ years of experience required
* Strong general surgical experience required, including ENT, Ortho, and Neuro
* Experience working in a large hospital with level 1 trauma experience required
* Candidate must have experience working in a busy acute care facility with more than 15 OR suites
* Experience with robotics required
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA)
* Must be on the North Dakota Board of Nursing Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP) Registry at least one week prior to start
* Must show proof of initiation of ND UAP application process within 3 business days of acceptance of offer
* Cancellation policy: Client may cancel up to 12 hours every 13 weeks

This large acute care facility operates 25 OR suites and maintains a level 1 trauma designation, handling an average of 75 to 100 surgical cases per day. The facility offers a comprehensive range of surgical services including orthopedics, plastic surgery, ENT (pediatric and adult), and general surgery, supported by advanced robotic technology.
