Open Position: RN - Orthopedics

Opportunity:

RN - Ortho

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
* Patient ratios of 1:5 on day and night shifts (varies between units, estimated ratios not guaranteed)
* Work alongside RNs and CNAs on most units
* Minimum 1 year of current acute care Med/Surg/Ortho hospital experience required
* BLS certification required
* ACLS preferred
* Chemo Certification preferred (would allow scheduling on Oncology unit)
* Perform and assist with joint replacements and fracture repairs
* Provide care for patients with spinal injuries
* Must demonstrate flexibility and willingness to float between units
* Must be a team player with compassion for patients
* EMR system: Meditech
* Work with varied patient populations managing both acute and chronic medical issues

This facility is a 345-bed, 3-time Magnet designated hospital offering a collaborative family environment where staff work together across units. The facility operates a float pool of approximately 80 staff members and supports a diverse range of orthopedic and spine care services.
