Opportunity:

OT - Inpatient Rehab

Job Details:

* Must have hospital and inpatient rehab experience
* Stroke evaluation and treatment experience required
* Monday through Friday schedule with rotating weekends
* 8-hour shifts between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM
* Patient ratio of 4:1
* 44-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit
* Unit staffing includes 10 OT/PT teams, 3 speech therapists, and 1 tech
* Perform manual therapy for neuro re-education, therapeutic exercise, functional activity, neuromuscular re-education, self-care, and functional e-stim
* Use of Sara Lifts, Ceiling Lifts, Bioness, and Diego equipment required
* Documentation completed in Meditech Expanse system
* Must utilize AIDET communication and immediate service recovery for patient experience
* May float to acute hospital if rehab census is low
* Preferred dress code: black scrub bottoms and royal blue top

This inpatient rehabilitation facility operates a 44-bed unit within a main hospital building and holds Joint Commission Stroke Certification, reflecting a commitment to high-quality neurological and rehabilitative care. The unit features a collaborative team environment with dedicated OT/PT teams, speech therapists, and support staff, along with advanced equipment and modern documentation systems to support comprehensive patient care.
