Opportunity:

RN - EMERGENCY ROOM

Job Details:

* 13-week contract assignment
* Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* 36 or 48 guaranteed hours based on facility approval
* Rotating weekend schedule required
* No on-call requirements
* Patient ratios of 1:4 ED, 1:5 behavioral health, and 1:3 cardiac/trauma
* Work in a 48-bed emergency department with private rooms, hallway stretchers, fast track, and behavioral health areas
* Perform procedures including splinting, EKGs, central monitoring, trauma assists, central line management, airway support, behavioral health de-escalation, and resuscitation
* Operate equipment including Alaris pumps, Belmont and Level 1 Rapid infusers, and Stryker stretchers
* Document using MEDITECH EMR system
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS
* Meditech experience preferred
* Trauma experience preferred
* Holding inpatient experience preferred
* CPI certification preferred
* Navy blue scrubs required
* Must be a multitasker, team player, and self-starter

Facility:

This facility is a full-service medical center featuring a comprehensive emergency department with 48 private rooms, 27 hallway stretchers, 9 fast track rooms, and 5 behavioral health rooms. The department is supported by an active unit-based council and social committee, and maintains modern equipment and technology to provide high-quality emergency care. The facility follows established policies and guidelines to ensure consistent, safe patient care across all departments.
