Job Details:

* Night shift hours: 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM or evening shift hours: 2:30 PM to 1:00 AM
* Work with complex patients including trauma, burn, critical care, pediatric, cardiac surgery, and ECMO cases
* Perform IV verification, medication verification, and IV compounding as needed
* Minimum 2 years of hospital experience required
* Virginia State Pharmacist license required
* Experience with Dose Edge IV, Pyxis, Meditech, and Vigilanz required
* Advanced skills required: Vancomycin AUC dosing, Aminoglycoside dosing, Renal dosing, Warfarin, Enoxaparin, Electrolyte protocols, Heparin, and DOAC
* Access to resources including Sanford Guide, Clinical Key, UpToDate, Vancomycin AUC calculator, Neofax, Briggs, and Lexicomp
* Preferred dress code: Silver/purple scrubs
* No floating policy

This facility is a 463-bed hospital recognized as a Primary Stroke Center, Level 1 Trauma Center, and Level 1 Burn Center, with an STS 3-star designation. The pharmacy department is located on the fourth floor of the main building and utilizes advanced documentation systems including Meditech Magic, Vigilanz, Dose Edge, and Pyxis.
