Open Position: RN - L&D

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2817.24

Opportunity:

Labor & Delivery (includes OR, antepartum, and float to postpartum)

Job Details:

* Work 12.5-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 7 nights a week
* Float to postpartum unit (PPU) as required
* Minimum of 2 years of experience required
* Care for patient age groups including neonates, adolescents, and adults
* Manage high-risk pregnancies and patients with multiple co-morbidities including cardiac disease, end-stage renal disease, cancer, and accreta
* Work within a unit consisting of 8 LDR rooms, 14 inpatient/antepartum/mother-baby beds, 2 OR suites, a 2-bed recovery room, and a 5-bed OB evaluation/triage area
* Perform circulating duties for C-sections and scrub as needed
* Recognize and treat abnormal fetal heart rate patterns
* Utilize external fetal monitoring equipment
* Perform triage, phlebotomy, and NSTs
* Support lactation services available 7 days a week in a Baby Friendly Hospital
* Utilize the Huggs security system
* Support Golden Hour practices and accommodate patient Doulas
* EPIC experience required and must be documented in work history
* Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, BLS, NRP (all must be in-hand when applying)
* Valid California state license required in-hand when applying (EMSA not accepted)
* Two supervisor references required when applying
* No requested time off (RTO) within the first two weeks of assignment; maximum 7 days RTO per 13-week contract highly preferred

This facility is a regional medical center and Baby Friendly Hospital offering comprehensive labor and delivery services, including dedicated OR suites, antepartum care, triage, and postpartum support. The unit provides specialized care for high-risk pregnancies and complex maternal conditions, with lactation support available seven days a week. The facility maintains a collaborative care environment that embraces practices such as Golden Hour and supports patient-centered birthing experiences.
