Opportunity:

RN - ACU/CCU

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour shifts rotating between night shift (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM) and day shift (7:00 AM to 7:30 PM)
* Every other weekend rotation required
* No on-call responsibilities
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Must have completed at least 1 prior travel assignment
* Patient ratios typically 2:1, sometimes 1:1 depending on patient acuity
* Care for neuro/spine patients, patients on pressors, and BiPAP patients requiring consistent high FiO2
* Patients requiring intubation will transition to ICU level of care
* Required skills include chest tubes, wound vacs, dressing changes, monitoring femoral arterial sheaths, DKA management, BiPAP, high flow oxygen, post-TCAR care, femoral endarterectomy care, and arterial line management
* Impella and/or IABP experience preferred with competency verification required on assignment
* Float to ICU level or below throughout the hospital as needed
* EPIC EMR experience preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Professional scrubs in any color required

This non-profit community hospital operates 226 total beds, including 20 ACU beds and 11 CCU beds. The facility provides comprehensive inpatient care across multiple levels of acuity, supporting a wide range of patient populations from step-down to critical care.
