Opportunity:

RN - House Supervisor

Job Details:

* Variable shift schedule working 3 x 12-hour shifts
* Preferred rotating mostly days with occasional nights
* Rotating days of the week
* Shift times: 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with occasional 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
* Supervise nursing personnel and operations by making regular rounds throughout the facility
* Serve as charge nurse for the entire hospital, coordinating care and resolving issues that cannot be handled at the unit level
* Respond to codes including cardiac, rapid response, and agitated patient situations
* Manage patient bed assignments and facilitate hospital throughput including bed placement and patient transfers/discharges
* Assess routine and non-routine patient conditions through identification of symptoms and behavioral changes
* Work with staff in unusual cases to develop prioritized interdisciplinary plans of care
* Coordinate bed huddles as needed and participate in discharge planning
* Collaborate with Nursing Directors and other departments to ensure patient and staff safety
* Critical care or emergency department experience strongly preferred
* 5+ years of experience preferred
* Minimum 2 years of recent experience in field required
* Bachelor's Degree in nursing or equivalent combination of education/related experience required; Master's Degree preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS (AHA or ARC), Teams Advanced
* Current RN licensure in state of practice required
