Opportunity:

Cardiovascular/Cath Lab Technologist

Job Details:

* Variable shift schedule
* Must have EPIC experience
* Assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular and pulmonary procedures
* Operate x-ray, physiological, and special procedure equipment including C-Arm, angiographic injectors, and patient monitoring equipment
* Select and modify technical factors for procedures as needed
* Monitor, record, and evaluate patient vital signs throughout procedures
* Maintain proper sterile and aseptic techniques and adhere to infection control procedures
* Provide patient radiation protection in accordance with prescribed radiation safety standards
* Operate and maintain physiologic equipment in accordance with established cardiovascular procedures
* Perform simple troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on cardiac cath equipment
* Act as a resource for specialized or complicated procedures and share improvements with team members
* Minimum two years of recent catheterization or related field experience required
* Required certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), BLS (from approved vendor per AH policy)
* Radiologic Technologist (RT) license required in California
* Current Fluoroscopy license required in California within 6 months of hire
* Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience preferred
