Job Details:
* Shifts alternate between 6:30 AM?5:00 PM and 9:00 AM?8:00 PM throughout the schedule
* Weekend on-call required along with weekday night on-call (weekday nights are 12-hour call shifts; weekends are 24?48 hour call shifts)
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Travelers may be required to make up missed shifts during the same week or at the end of the assignment
* Minimum 2 years of cardiac and vascular scrub experience required
* Experience as a Level 2 trauma center scrub tech required
* Scrub experience in General, Urology, and Ortho highly preferred
* Required certifications: BLS, NBSTSA (CST), or NCCT
* Cerner charting system experience preferred
* Hospital scrubs provided
* Floating between two campuses approximately 12 miles apart (15?20 minute drive) required as needed; travelers are first to float
* Cardiac procedures include: Atrial Septal Defect repair, Cardiomyoplasty, CABG, Mitral Valve Replacement, Pericardial Window, TAVR, Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD/RVAD), and Laparoscopic Cardiac Surgery
* Vascular procedures include: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, Aortic Aneurysm repair, Aortocaval Fistula repair, Aortoenteric Fistula repair, Arteriovenous Fistula repair, Arteriovenous Malformation surgery, Atherectomy, Carotid Angioplasty, Carotid Artery Stenting, Carotid Endarterectomy, Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, Femoral Popliteal Bypass Graft, Renal Artery Bypass Surgery, and TEVAR
* Patient population: Adults and Geriatrics
* Interdisciplinary support available including Interpretation Services, Radiology, Pharmacy, Transportation, and Unit Secretary

This facility is a 323-bed hospital and home to an advanced cardiothoracic surgery, structural heart, and heart failure program. The Heart & Lung Institute performs a wide range of advanced cardiac procedures including CABG, valve surgery, and TAVR. The health system operates two hospital campuses and is well-regarded for its comprehensive cardiovascular and vascular surgical capabilities, supporting a high-acuity patient population across multiple specialties.
