Opportunity:

RN - Tele/PCU Cardiac Unit

Job Details:

* Work on a 29-bed private room Telemetry/PCU Cardiac Unit
* Patient ratios of either 1:4 or 1:5
* All weekends required
* Perform blood transfusions, IV starts, midline/central line removals, and respiratory and cardiac assessments
* Work with high fall risk patient population
* Operate telemetry monitoring and continuous pulse oximetry equipment
* Document using Meditech EMR system
* Float to med/surg, tele, PCU, and ED holds as needed
* Dress code: Navy blue scrubs required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and telemetry experience
* Preferred qualifications: NIH Stroke Prepared, PALS, ICU, tele, or PCU experience
* Best fit candidates are team players who are engaged and self-motivated

Facility:

This facility features a dedicated Telemetry/PCU Cardiac Unit with 29 private rooms and a multidisciplinary care team including registered nurses, charge nurses, patient care technicians, respiratory therapists, case managers, rehab specialists, throughput managers, and ancillary staff. The unit is equipped with telemetry monitoring and continuous pulse oximetry technology and utilizes the Meditech electronic medical records system to support high-quality cardiac patient care.
