Open Position: RN - Clinic / Ambulatory

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $3098.80

Opportunity:

RN - Primary Care

Job Details:

* Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
* Active Alaska nursing license required at time of submittal
* Primary care experience must be within the last 2 years
* Minimum 2 years of primary care experience required
* Required certification: Basic Life Support (BLS)
* Provide clinical services in an outpatient ambulatory care setting
* Work with providers, clinic staff, and management to ensure quality care and efficient use of resources
* Provide leadership and direction to clinic staff for efficient operation including front desk and patient care
* Maintain medication inventory and supplies
* Ensure quality control checks are completed for Point of Care tests
* Clearly and correctly document all care and services provided in a timely manner
* Oversee opening and closing of provider clinics
* Assist providers and other staff as needed to ensure efficient and quality patient care
* Communicate effectively with other departments as a resource for patients, providers, and clinic staff
* Maintain skill sets, annual competencies, and certifications, and participate in in-services and educational programs
* Complete all mandatory training and attend staff meetings
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment including adequate supplies and upkeep of unit and equipment
* Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
* Proficiency with computers and medical equipment required
* Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment
* Strong oral and written communication skills required
