Open Position: Pharmacist - Pharmacist Inpatient

Job Details:

* 10-hour shifts from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a 7 on / 7 off schedule
* Rotating weekends as needed
* Holiday coverage required
* No on-call requirement
* Cover multiple areas including ICU, IMC, ED, Med-Surg, OR (cardiothoracic), cardiac cath, EPS, and central pharmacy
* Must have inpatient staffing experience
* Must be proficient in Vancomycin AUC dosing, Aminoglycoside dosing, Heparin dosing/monitoring, and TPN management/monitoring
* IV Room experience not required but must understand USP 797 and be able to tabletop medications or oversee IV preparation by technicians
* Minimal chemotherapy involvement - primarily gemcitabine or mitomycin for urology surgery and occasional methotrexate for ectopic pregnancies
* Medication dispensing system: Omnicell
* Charting system: Cerner
* Dress code: Scrubs, clean and professional, or business casual attire required
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA)
* Wisconsin pharmacy license preferred
* BCPS certification preferred
* All clinicians must clock in and out at the facility

Facility:

This acute care facility operates a comprehensive inpatient pharmacy department supporting a wide range of clinical areas including critical care, surgical, and specialty units. The pharmacy team works alongside skilled technicians across multiple shifts and provides a structured 2-3 week departmental orientation to ensure contractors are set up for success. The facility utilizes Omnicell for medication dispensing and Cerner for charting, reflecting a commitment to modern healthcare technology and patient safety standards.
