Opportunity:

SEASONAL - TRAVEL - RN - L&D (707)

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Labor and Delivery unit located on the 3rd floor of the main building
* Unit consists of 29 beds, 4 ORs, 3 PACU Bays, 12 Antepartum rooms, and 10 Triage rooms
* Patient ratio of 2:1
* Perform procedures including vaginal and C-section deliveries, D&C, hysterectomy, postpartum tubal ligation, cerclage placement, and versions
* High-risk OB experience applicable
* May float to postpartum unit to care for mothers only (no baby assignments) or to NICU for helping hands only with no assignment
* Work with Centricity and GE monitors
* EMR systems used: Meditech and CPN
* Minimum 1 year of current hospital L&D experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (FM) or AWHONN
* Meditech experience preferred
* PACU and OR experience preferred
* Must be a self-starter who can work independently and support fellow teammates

This facility is a well-established healthcare organization featuring a comprehensive Labor and Delivery unit staffed by an experienced team of nurses, certified surgical technologists, anesthesiologists, CRNAs, OB hospitalists, and OB residents. The unit is equipped with modern technology and monitoring systems to support a wide range of obstetric and gynecological procedures. The team fosters a collaborative environment where staff support one another in delivering high-quality patient care.
