Opportunity:

RN - Emergency Department

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
* 48 hours guaranteed per week
* Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed
* Floating to other units is required
* Scrub color: Navy Blue
* Charge nurse capability highly preferred
* Travel experience required
* Minimum 2 years of experience in emergency department required with some pediatric experience
* EMR experience required: EPIC
* Provide care to all assigned patients including SANE patients
* Common patient diagnoses include stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
* Treat patients across all age groups including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients
* Specialty equipment experience required: Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
* Required certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC (must be in hand at time of submission)
* Active NY RN license required with NURSYS verification
* Local candidates within 75 miles are eligible to apply

This healthcare facility operates a large emergency department with 64 beds, including 2 triage bays, 40 acute care beds, 6 super track beds, 2 trauma bays, 10 clinical decision unit beds, and 6 psychiatric beds. The facility provides comprehensive emergency care for a wide range of critical conditions and maintains high standards for patient care across all age groups. The organization is equipped with advanced specialty equipment to support complex medical cases and trauma situations.
