Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Labor & Delivery unit located on the 3rd floor of the main building
* Unit consists of 14 LDRPs and 2 ORs
* Patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2 maximum for Labor & Delivery and 3:1 for Postpartum per AWHONN guidelines
* Night shift staffing includes 1 charge RN, 2-3 LD RNs, and 2-3 PP RNs
* Minimum of 1 year of current hospital L&D RN experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and EFM-C or AWHONN
* Perform typical procedures including versions, C-sections, vaginal assisted deliveries, and D&Cs
* Work with Beacon EMR and Meditech/CPN systems
* Prior Meditech experience preferred
* Postpartum experience highly preferred
* Must be adaptable, flexible, consistent, and professional

Facility:

This healthcare facility features a dedicated Labor & Delivery unit with 14 LDRPs and 2 operating rooms, supported by a team of 60 staff members. The unit operates around the clock with structured staffing on both day and night shifts to ensure comprehensive patient care. The facility follows AWHONN guidelines for patient ratios and maintains modern equipment and technology to support a wide range of obstetric procedures and deliveries.
