Opportunity:

Rehabilitation Therapy Services

Job Details:

* Day shift only
* Must work 2 weekend shifts per month on a rotating basis
* No on-call requirement
* No floating requirement
* Work across all floors and buildings within the facility
* Provide 1-on-1 therapy treatments to patients in acute care and inpatient rehabilitation settings
* Utilize therapy equipment including walking equipment, bikes, bars, and treadmills
* Use Meditech EMR system
* PT candidates must have at least 1 year of experience in acute care and/or inpatient rehabilitation settings
* OT candidates must have at least 1 year of experience in acute care and/or inpatient rehabilitation settings
* ST candidates must have at least 2 years of full-time acute care hospital (Level 1 Trauma preferred) or LTAC experience
* ST candidates must be highly skilled in the completion of modified barium swallow (MBSS) studies in radiology
* Candidates with work history consisting solely of skilled nursing facilities, outpatient settings, pediatrics, or school settings will not be considered
* Key personality traits for success include willingness, accountability, flexibility, and open-mindedness

Facility:

This facility is a large 600-bed acute care hospital operating at Trauma Level 1 with specialized units including neuroscience, multiple ICUs, ECMO, burn, oncology, orthopedic, and spine floors. The facility also includes a 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit and supports three distinct therapy departments: Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy. The rehabilitation therapy team is comprised of a robust staff of full-time therapists supported by department directors, managers, and discipline-specific supervisors.
