Radiology Technologist

Job Details:

* Work 5 eight-hour shifts from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM
* Weekend coverage required
* Surgery experience required - evening surgery coverage is included in this role
* Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in the specialty
* Must have a minimum of 1 year of EPIC EMR experience
* First-time travelers may be considered depending on experience
* Required certifications: ARRT R, BLS
* Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Patient ratio of 1 across days, nights, and weekends
* 2 rooms available for procedures
* Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation
* Must be proficient in a wide range of radiologic procedures including portable and bedside procedures, C-arm procedures, trauma cases, upper and lower extremity imaging, spine imaging, chest imaging, and contrast media preparation and administration
* Must follow radiation safety and infection prevention protocols including isolation precautions and PPE
* PACS experience required
* Floating to other units and campuses may be required based on census needs, limited to qualified areas where competencies have been demonstrated
