Open Position: RN - Endoscopy

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $3040.20

Opportunity:

RN - Outpatient Endoscopy

Job Details:

* 8-hour day shifts with variable start times
* Ability to float to other facilities within a 75+ mile radius as needed
* Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
* Outpatient endoscopy experience required
* Pre/Post procedure experience required
* Inpatient experience required
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Prior teaching hospital experience preferred
* Prior travel experience within the last 12 months required
* BSN required
* Epic charting system experience required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA)
* California RN license required
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Daily census of approximately 40 patients
* Perform and assist with procedures including bronchoscopy, colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, and esophageal varices and banding
* Administer and monitor conscious sedation and monitored anesthesia care sedation
* Manage and interpret dysrhythmias and airway management
* Start and maintain IVs and obtain 12-lead EKG/ECG
* Handle specimen collection, labeling, and use of endoscopy equipment including balloon dilators, polyp snares, and lithotripters
* Administer medications including opioid analgesics, reversal agents, and Versed
* Interdisciplinary support available including interpretation services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
