Opportunity:

RN - Med-Surg/Telemetry

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* Weekend requirement based on unit needs and demands
* Holiday requirement to be discussed with manager during phone interview
* No on-call or standby requirements
* Float as needed within the facility
* Patient ratio of 1:4 to 1:5
* CNA support available at a 1:9 ratio
* Telemetry/monitor techs available on unit
* RNs required to read telemetry strips
* RNs required to titrate drips, limited to Heparin and Cardizem (up to 10mg/hr)
* CPAP and BiPAP equipment used on unit; no high-flow
* Charting system: EPIC
* 2-shift unit-specific orientation provided
* Common diagnoses include CHF, DM, UTI, non-critical sepsis, HTN, COPD, isolation, end-of-life/palliative care, awaiting placement, and post-op general surgery patients
* Minimum 1 year of acute care clinical experience required
* No specific scrub color required
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
* Washington State or Compact nursing license required
