Job Details:

* 12-hour night shifts
* Weekend coverage required
* Ability to float to other facilities within a 75+ mile radius at any time during assignment
* Minimum 1 year of acute care experience required
* BSN required for all RN positions
* Prior travel experience within the last 12 months required
* Prior teaching hospital experience preferred
* Emergency department experience preferred
* ICU experience preferred
* Ambulatory surgery center experience preferred
* Skilled nursing experience preferred
* PCT certification preferred
* CNA certification preferred
* Required certification: AHA BLS
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* LTAC experience preferred
* Patient ratio of 15:1 on nights
* Treats patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Skills required include vital signs monitoring, acute care, patient transport, phlebotomy, EKG/ECG, isolation precautions/PPE, CPR, safe patient transfers, and additional clinical and clerical duties

This is a large academic medical center and teaching hospital that provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services across multiple facilities. The organization supports float staffing across various departments and locations, offering healthcare professionals exposure to diverse clinical environments. The facility utilizes Epic as its charting system and maintains high standards of patient care across all units.
