Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

* Night shift position with every other weekend requirement
* 4 weekend shifts required per 4 weeks
* Holiday requirement includes one major holiday and two minor holidays during Christmas time
* First to float when needed; may float to ER, Telemetry, or Med-Surg, including sister facility
* Patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2
* 20-bed ICU unit
* Charting system: Cerner (orientation includes minimum 2 shifts plus one additional shift for Cerner training)
* Telemetry: Phillips
* Ventilator management: Respiratory Therapy manages vents with nurses expected to troubleshoot
* Respiratory Therapy available in unit 24/7; Pharmacy available 24/7
* PICC/Midline team available
* May be placed on call if staffing is reduced
* Common diagnoses and patient types include neuro, radical cancer surgeries, DaVinci procedures, abdominal cases, urology cases, CVA, TPA, vascular surgery, respiratory failure, sepsis, glycemic control, and oncology patients
* Minimum 2 years of experience required for night shift on both campuses
* Scrub color: Navy Blue
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

This acute care facility operates a 20-bed ICU with a strong multidisciplinary support structure, including charge nurse or nurse shift manager coverage each shift and resource nurse availability. The facility provides comprehensive specialty services including oncology, neurology, urology, and surgical care.
